Lotus’s unveils Lotus’s SMART App – a one-stop mobile application combining online shopping platform and rewards program, aiming to take shopping experience to the next level with personalization
Lotus’s has unveiled the “Lotus’s SMART App”, a one-stop mobile application that combines “My Lotus’s” the new rewards program and an online shopping platform. The app aims to uplift user experience to the next level, with SMART features backed by artificial intelligence that will deliver one-to-one level of personalization.
Ms. Vorawan Phianlikhitwong, Executive Director – Customer, Lotus’s Thailand, said: “To deliver on our promise to offer SMART and seamless shopping experiences to our customers through our omni-channel network, we have developed the “Lotus’s SMART App” as the one-stop destination that combines our new and improved rewards program and online shopping platform into one powerful application. Lotus’s SMART App will replace all mobile applications we offered in the past. The app utilizes artificial intelligence and big data to deliver one-to-one level of personalization to customers, generating privileges and discounts that appeal to their interest and fit their shopping behaviors. Our new rewards program “My Lotus’s” is integrated into the Lotus’s SMART App and is 100% paperless, doing away with quarterly statements and printed coupons sent to customers’ homes to reduce waste. Our goal is for every Lotus’s customer to join the “My Lotus’s” rewards program to offer personalized value that goes beyond price. Additionally, to thank customers who download the Lotus’s SMART App and join My Lotus’s, we will be giving away 1,500 unique NFT arts from April 1 – 30, 2022.”

An integral part of the Lotus’s SMART App is the online shopping platform that will deliver improved user experiences and strengthen Lotus’s online-to-offline business.
Mr. Tarin Thaniyavarn, President e-commerce, Lotus’s Asia-Pacific except China, said: “An important goal for Lotus’s is to expand our O2O business to cater to the ever-changing consumer behaviors. B2C e-commerce in Thailand has grown consistently. The Covid-19 pandemic helped to accelerate the growth of the local B2C e-commerce market in 2021 by 30% year-on-year , due to restrictions on shopping malls and health concerns. Our O2O business in 2021 also grew more than 250% over the previous year thanks to the expansion of our channels and delivery coverage. Our goal over the next five years is to increase sales revenue contribution of the O2O business from single digit to double digit. The Lotus’s SMART App will be a key driver for that growth and ensuring the best customer experience.”

The Lotus’s SMART App offers a wide variety of products from fresh food, dry groceries, household items, and will offer the Lotus’s Eat feature in the future to deliver food from restaurants in Lotus’s shopping malls. My Lotus’s members earn Lotus’s coins through every purchase made through the Lotus’s SMART App and can redeem the coins through online shopping.
